Quality Control

We verify that what you ordered is exactly what you receive. Origin inspection, production supervision and report before shipment.

Knowing your goods comply before they leave the origin

One of the most common risks in imports from Asia is receiving goods that do not match what was agreed: incorrect quantities, different materials, damaged packaging or specifications that were not respected.

At IMPORTEX GROUP we coordinate product verification at origin before it leaves the supplier warehouse. We review that what you ordered is what is being produced and packaged, and we deliver a report with real evidence so you can make informed decisions before shipment.

What quality control includes

  • Sample review and approval before production
  • Progress supervision during manufacturing
  • Verification of specifications, materials and quantities
  • Inspection of packaging, labeling and general condition
  • Photographic evidence of the finished product
  • Report with approval or correction recommendation

Three key moments where we act

Effective quality control is not a single review — it is a process that covers the critical points of the operation.

Before production

Sample review and approval. We confirm the supplier clearly understands what is expected before starting volume production.

During production

Tracking order progress. We verify materials, quantities and timelines to detect deviations before it is too late to correct them.

Before shipment

Inspection of finished product in warehouse. We review units, packaging, labeling and condition. Report with photos and approval before moving the cargo.

Step-by-step verification process

Each stage has a clear objective and a concrete deliverable.

Stage What we verify Why it matters
1. Sample confirmation Review of client-approved sample before authorizing volume production. Prevents incorrect production runs that cost time and money.
2. Production supervision Tracking order progress: materials, specifications, quantities and delivery timelines. Detects deviations before they become problems upon receiving the goods.
3. Pre-shipment inspection Verification of finished product before it leaves the supplier warehouse: units, packaging, labeling and general condition. The last opportunity to correct before international shipment.
4. Report and approval Delivery of report with findings, photographic evidence and recommendation for approval or correction. You decide with real information, not just the supplier's word.

Receiving incorrect goods is more costly than doing the inspection

When goods arrive in Mexico and do not meet what was agreed, the cost is no longer just the product — it includes return freight, lost time, undelivered orders and your client relationship at risk.

  • You avoid receiving defective or non-conforming products
  • You reduce the risk of costly claims and returns
  • You have real evidence before paying the balance to the supplier
  • Your clients receive what you promised
  • You build a more professional relationship with your suppliers
  • You operate with greater confidence in every import

Frequently asked questions about quality control

In which countries can you conduct quality inspections?
We coordinate inspections primarily with suppliers in China and other Asian markets. For each operation we evaluate the availability of local inspectors or coordinate the verification process directly with the supplier under our criteria.
What happens if the inspection detects problems?
We notify you immediately with photographic evidence and a detailed report. From there we coordinate with the supplier the necessary corrections before authorizing shipment. The goal is not to move goods that do not meet what was agreed.
Does quality control apply to any type of product?
Yes. We work with textile products, consumer goods, products for wholesale distribution and commercial merchandise in general. We adapt the verification criteria to the product type and each client's specific requirements.
Can I receive photographic evidence of the inspection?
Yes. Every inspection includes photographic documentation of the product, packaging and general condition. We deliver a report with the evidence so you have real visibility before the goods leave the origin.
