Your goods, coordinated from start to finish
Importing from Asia or other international markets involves coordinating multiple parties: suppliers, shipping lines, customs agents and carriers. A mistake at any point can result in delays, fines or detained goods.
At IMPORTEX GROUP we handle logistics coordination so you don’t have to. We track every shipment, manage documentation and keep you informed throughout the entire process, from when the goods leave the origin until they arrive in Mexico.
What we coordinate for you
Shipping methods we handle
Every operation is different. We coordinate the shipping method based on volume, urgency and type of goods.
FCL — Full container load
Ideal for high volumes. Your goods occupy a complete 20 or 40-foot container, which reduces per-unit costs and minimizes the risk of mixing with other cargo.
LCL — Consolidated cargo
For smaller volumes. Your cargo is consolidated with other shipments, allowing you to import without needing to fill a complete container. Flexible and accessible for growing operations.
Air — Speed when it’s urgent
For urgent shipments or high-value, low-volume goods. Reduced transit times with detailed tracking from origin to customs in Mexico.
How we coordinate your shipment
From start to finish, every stage has defined responsibilities and tracking.
| Stage | What we do | Result for your operation |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Shipment coordination | Contact with the supplier to confirm dates, volume and shipping method (FCL, LCL, air). | Clarity from the start on estimated timelines and costs. |
| 2. Document management | Review and tracking of documents: commercial invoice, packing list, BL, certificates and required permits. | Documentation in order before your goods arrive. |
| 3. Transit tracking | Shipment monitoring during international transit: status updates, delay alerts. | Constant visibility without you having to chase down information. |
| 4. Arrival coordination | Coordination with customs agent, clearance at port or airport and scheduling of final delivery. | Your goods cleared and on their way without complications. |
Why good logistics coordination changes the outcome of your operation
Most problems in imports do not occur at the factory — they occur in transit, in documentation or in coordination with customs. Poor tracking can cost weeks and money.
